Inca Educa is a non-governmental organization (NGO), active in Cusco, a city in the highlands of Peru counting 330 000 inhabitants. Inca Educa aims to offer education, structure, stability, and safety to underprivileged youngsters between 15 and 25 years, and to women up to 35 years. For this purpose, Inca Educa has established a practice-oriented school which offers vocational training, basic education, and cultural and recreational activities. It enables participants to develop and learn a trade so that they can better participate in the society and get more opportunities to find professional work. By participating in the offered activities, course attendants learn to organize their lives in a positive way, with more confidence, and better prospects. From 2008 we have a capacity to offer an education for up to 400 youngsters a year.

Cusco is a city that relies heavily on tourism, so Inca Educa focuses mainly on vocational education related to this sector. Apart from that, it is important for the youngsters to learn English and IT-skills, to have a better chance to obtain stable employment.
