Inca Educa

Inca Educa runs 2 practical courses where Peruvian handicrafts are produced: ceramics and weaving.
In the weaving course, the first thing the students learn is to dye the wool using natural dyes. In doing so, pretty colours are obtained and the products have an advantage over other woven products that are made with synthetic wools and dyes. The style Inca Educa is following is mostly contemporary, which means you can buy an authentic Peruvian product made by hand, that will go very well with today´s modern interior design. Apart from that we also have woven "paintings" based on images taken from the Inca-culture. You can see some of the products on the site that serve as a sample of what is available. In the ceramics course we also use natural dyes. The designs for the ceramics products are based on icons from the Inca-culture.

The price mentioned with the products exclude shipping costs. Here are some indications of shipping costs to Western Europe:
1 - 2 kilos -> 30 euros
5 kilos -> 56 euros
10 kilos -> 90 euros
20 kilos -> 157 euros
30 kilos -> 225 euros

Inca Educa also has a paper workshop where paper is created by hand using different ingredients such as used paper, plants and cane. These products are also available in the webshop.

Apart from the products created by hand by students of the NGO, we also have some other products on offer. These are not hand-made, but are nice products whose sale also supports the organisation.
